Recurring, deep, move-in/move-out and post-construction house cleaning for West Newton homes — from the mansions on the Hill to the apartments near the square. Insured, owner-operated, the same trusted cleaners every visit.

West Newton Square on Washington Street is the most complete traditional village centre in the city — the 1937 West Newton Cinema, the Davis Railroad Hotel, the Robinson Block and the Newton Bank Building all still standing. Uphill from it sits West Newton Hill; downhill toward the tracks sit smaller houses and apartment buildings. We clean the whole range, and we quote each end of it differently, because a Queen Anne on the Hill and a two-bedroom near the square are not the same job.

West Newton Hill itself was platted as an eighty-acre subdivision by Alexander Wadsworth in 1849, but only ten houses went up before 1879; the great majority were built between 1880 and 1900 in Colonial Revival, Queen Anne and Shingle Style.
Beyond the Hill the village keeps going back further. Webster Park is twenty-six houses from 1847 to 1870 — Greek Revival, Gothic Revival, Italianate — around a lozenge-shaped pocket park. The Putnam Street district is twenty properties, mostly 1860s to 1880s. The Day Estate district is six Tudor Revival houses from 1928 to 1930 with limestone trim and half-timbering. And the Myrtle Baptist Church neighbourhood on Curve and Prospect Streets is a historic centre of West Newton’s African-American community, formed around 1870. None of it is a local historic district, so exterior work here is unregulated.

Yes. Three-storey Queen Anne and Shingle Style houses from the 1880s and 1890s come with plaster, radiators, back staircases, stained glass and a great deal of millwork — they take longer than square footage alone suggests, and we scope them that way.
We do. West Newton has a genuine owner-and-renter mix near the station and the square, so we handle both recurring cleans and end-of-tenancy move-out cleans here.
